Our favourite Fruit and Nut Chocolate Truffle Recipe:

Ingredients:

• 190g plain sweet biscuits, crushed
• 1 1/2 cups desiccated coconut
• 1 1/4 cups sultanas
• 1 tin condensed milk
• 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
• 2 tablespoons glace cherries, chopped
• 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 1/2 tablespoons sherry
• 30g copha, melted
• 50g milk, dark or white chocolate melts – for decorating

Method:

• Combine biscuit crumbs, coconut, sultanas, condensed milk, walnuts, cherries, cocoa and sherry in a bowl, mix well.
• Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls, set aside.
• Combine dark chocolate melts and copha together, dip truffles into chocolate mixture, allow to set on foil-lined tray.
• Decorate by drizzling or piping with milk, dark or white chocolate melts.
• Refrigerate.

Makes approximately 30 balls.
