A pastel floral celebration fit for a princess!
Our beautiful little princess Olivia has just turned 1, we had a small celebration with family and friends on the weekend to celebrate her birthday.
I had so much fun planning my little girls party, even though she won’t remember, we have lots of beautiful photos and memories that I will treasure forever.
I decided to go with a pink and purple floral theme, she looks gorgeous in these colours, and I am a huge fan of anything floral, so the theme was an easy one to choose.
I have spent many weeks making most of these decorations, the pink tulle table skirt turned out so pretty and really added a finishing touch to the table. A family friend made her gorgeous pastel fairy cake, it truly was divine.
Tissue pom poms are always a favourite decoration of mine, they are simple and easy to use and really do look fantastic, there are lots of colours to choose from in different sizes.
I used our new pink & silver foil ‘Princess’ range of party tableware for our guests, see our party bags, plates and cups here.
As part of my daughter’s birthday present, I had this gorgeous doll made to match her birthday outfit, she is just perfect as was the tutu dress.
We had a delicious selection of party food
- Vanilla cupcakes
- Chocolate slice
- Custard cream cookies
- Sandwhiches
- Custard tarts
- Sausage rolls
- Punch
I hope you have enjoyed looking through these photos from Olivia’s 1st birthday party, I hope it may provide you some inspiration when planning your little girl’s 1st birthday.
Happy party planning,
